leaving soon..
we leave Thailand in about 8 days. To go home. I’ve started sleeping more and not wanting to get out of bed. Last night I went to sleep around midnight and didn’t get out of bed today until 2pm. Mine and anne’s room is in shambles. We’ve completely lost interest in cleaning, doing the dishes, straightening up. We just don’t care anymore. And I hope we are able to leave the room just like we found it: filthy. I have a million little things to do. I have to buy a new suitcase. Make cards for the good friends I’ve made here. Finish the scrapbook I’ve been putting together ever since I got here. Figure out a way to present my pictures to people back home. I was working on a powerpoint project, but I’ve decided to abandon it because it just takes too much time. I figure I’ll finish the scrapbook on the plane. I’m reading a book called “a cure for dreams” by kayne gibbons that I’ll also work on during the plane ride. When we get to Bangkok the night before our flight, I’m going to try to locate criterion collection bootleg dvd vendor guy. Because the 4 dvds I bought from him work perfectly and I want to buy the whole Catherine breillat collection off of him. I still have a few more souvenirs to buy for people. I have to sell my cellphone back. I got an internship interview with the botanical gardens, that’s really cool. I’m very happy about that.
